Some 30 years ago Ken and I were driving North  by road to fetch a car from Brighouse  and I was at pains to point out that one needed to be very very careful on the way home when travelling West on the M62 - because if  you missed joining the M62 South at junction 21 your next exit was LIVERPOOL. I got home about 7pm but no sign of Ken (no mobiles in those days) until he pulled in safely at 10.30pm. Where have you been I asked? Or words to that effect. Liverpool was the reply. We laughed!!
